Spumco character color

a Dragon Tales BG

This didn't end up as the final version they used, but i like it anyway. I was on this show for maybe a month and they cancelled it (and brought it back a year or two later).

more charcoal pastel artwork

these were part of my Cartoon Network art show in 2004. These two were purchased by CNS "bigwigs" Brian Miller and Jennifer Pelfrey. They have a great art collection (i've only seen what they have at the studio) which i'm proud to be a part of.

this guy is supposed to be an agent.

"Extreme Ghost Busters" bg color

more character stuff

i guess i made this guy's arm a little too short, you think?. He's supposed to be a producer or some Hollywood wheeler dealer.

more character design/color

These were for an earlier Bob Balaban project called "The Big Studio". Is it possible i get paid money to do this? Bob was looking for a sort of folk art look.. clunky, disproportioned and child-like. This guy with the beer belly is an electrician, the other guy is meant to be an actor/Hollywood eccentric. She is supposed to be a movie star.

noodle stand bg

This was just a color test. I didn't get the job, but i think it came out nice anyway.

This screened at the Silverlake Film Festival in 2004, and at a couple of art video events, one in LA, one in Amsterdam. Supposedly it got shown on Dutch television.
